Leisureworld Caregiving Centre Creedan Valley is a delightful long-term care home, situated in the tranquil village of Creemore. This home opened in 1975 and is truly a vital member of the community with residents coming from miles around – as far away as Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and Barrie. Providing care to 95 residents, Leisureworld Creedan Valley also has respite beds available for short-term relief to caregivers who are going on holiday or just need a bit of a break. The well-established Restorative Care Program results in many people being able to return to the community. With the home’s resident-owned bus, residents can participate in outings such as Christmas Light Tours, country drives, shopping, zoo trips, Halloween and other events. The bus is maintained by the Residents Bus Fund with events such as the annual Walk and Wheel A-Thon.
